Marguerite Halo

Marguerite Halo opened Strait Sounds with SS-001 — a patient, cream-ground melodic house LP built around tape loops recorded above the locks at the foot of the Detroit River. Her work pairs drifting pads with a percussive restraint learned from years spent listening to water move at shift change.

She lives in Corktown, records at a home studio above a coffee bar on Gratiot, and tours Europe in spring. Her remix catalog spans the Anjunadeep axis.
